HDR is certified with Build it Green as a Remodeling Contractor and also has been awarded
“Green Check” by the Sierra Club Green Home Initiative.

We design and remodel existing residential structures to enhance the well-being of our clients
while incorporating Green Building practices.

Building Green means:

• Improve the residential air quality of our client's homes
• Increase water efficiency through accepted green practices and products
• Recommend and incorporate energy saving appliances and practices
• Reduce and divert construction and demolition debris away from the landfills
• Encourage clients to include renewable energy technologies
• Reduce or eliminate the use of volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
• Use FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood for framing
• Use recycled or rapidly renewable materials whenever possible
