Background The toilet is most
heavily used plumbing fixture in the home. The toilet
requires normal repair and maintenance. It is not labor
intensive to maintain the fixture but should be done on a regular
basis. When you hear the toilet run when no one uses it,
it is time to call Honey Do. Delay in making these repairs
can result in more expensive damage to the room.
The cost
of these services is $85.00/hour/person with a 2 hour minimum
plus parts. We'll do this work as part of our Handy person (Handyman) service calls.

Repair
toilet tank mechanism Honey Do will adjust the handle,
the lift chain, the flapper ball and replace if necessary.
clear the flushing holes under the lip of the bowl, tighten
the tank bolts if loose. Included in the service
cost is the replacement of the ball cock if necessary. We
replace the ball cock with a new one with an anti siphon
device as required by most building codes on new building. The
anti siphon device does not allow soiled water from the
tank to be drawn back into our water supply in case the
household water pressure drops suddenly.

Clear
a clogged toilet; Honey Do will check first if any
other drains, sinks, tubs, or showers are draining slowly. If
they are, it will necessary to call our drain maintenance
company to clear a blockage in your drains. If this
is the only slow draining water consuming item in your
house we will attempt to clear the drain first with a plunger,
in a closet auger and finally will pull the toilet
and clear it manually.
