Chimney: Evaluation, Sweeping, Repair, & Maintenance

HDR Remodeling is a professional chimney sweeping company certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA #4291). Honey Do is a member in good standing of the National Chimney Sweep Guild and the Golden Gate Chimney Sweep Guild as well as being a Licensed California Contractor (lic. # 720621) with twelve years of experience. We are interested in the continued well-being of your home. Your home chimney needs to be evaluated annually and swept as required. Your chimney should be well maintained to ensure its safe use.

Chimney Evaluation: Honey Do will evaluate the firebox, chimney, damper, chimney cap and spark arrestor and provide you with a complete 21-point Condition Report and prepare a proposal for any additional work noted. The cost for an evaluation with camera is $185. (Required before doing any chimney work)

Chimney Sweep: Honey Do will evaluate the firebox, chimney, damper, chimney cap and spark arrestor and sweep the chimney and firebox. We will provide you with a complete 21-point Condition Report and prepare a proposal for any additional work noted. The spark arrestor will be carefully reattached. All debris will be hauled off the site or the ash is wonderful for the garden and if you would like we can leave it.
The costs are as follows: 1-story $185, 2-story $225, 3-story $295, 4-story TBD.

Spark Arrestor/Rain Cap: Honey Do will purchase and install a spark arrestor/rain cap combination to code. The spark arrestor is required in many municipalities and often at the time of sale of a home.
The cost of the spark arrestor installation is $200.
The cost of a damper combo kit is $395.
