HDR did an amazing job remodeling our kitchen - they handled everything from design, permitting and construction, making the job easier for me to manage. I was 7 months pregnant when they started the work and had already resigned myself to the fact that I would be bringing home our new baby to a construction site. Much to my delight, our kitchen was completed 2 weeks before our son was born ... in only 7 weeks! I was very impressed at HDR's speed and attention to detail as the other contractors that I had interviewed for the job all told me that the remodel would take a minimum of 12 weeks. The other thing that makes HDR stand out against a sea of competitors is the high quality and follow through of their administrative staff: they were very friendly, conscientious and easy to work with - I never had a call that wasn't returned or an issue that was not handled, etc. Overall, I have been a very satisfied customer and everyone that has come over to our house loves our new kitchen L.W. of Oakland

When our aging redwood deck needed replacement, HDR beat all competitors with their knowledge of materials, helpful suggestions, ability to work within our budget and time constraints. They were always on time, professional, and left the work site immaculate at the end of the day. The office staff kept in touch to see that everything was to our satisfaction, and supervisors came out regularly to check on progress. Our Trex deck is beautiful! In addition, we had HDR move our hot tub to a better location on our property and replace our MBR deck with a watertight decking .
